About Us
We are Gracie Humaita Brownsville. Our school has been teaching and training Jiu-jitsu in Brownsville since 2003.
Professor Emmanuel Galvan
- 4th Degree Black Belt
- Has been training martial arts since the age of 3
- Has more than 20 years of teaching experience
- Certified Self Defense Instructor under Master Royler Gracie
Professor Galvan is the First Jiu-jitsu Instructor in the Rio Grande Valley. His School was opened in August of 2003. His passion is learning the most he can to bring back to Brownsville and further the Jiu-jitsu we have here.
Professor Martha Galvan
- 3rd Degree Black Belt in Jiu-jitsu
- Holds multiple black belts
- Has a Masters in Education Curriculum & Instruction
- Certified Self Defense Instructor under Master Royler Gracie
Professor Martha was one of the First 4 Female Jiu-jitsu black belts in the state of Texas. She has competed all over Texas since white belt.
